loved this book and back for more July 14, 2010 susuyaya (Ojai, CA) Started out with Mr. Shortz' smaller paperback style Sudoku books, then graduated to this one which never left my side. I loved it because I could easily erase and restart a puzzle I messed up. Now I'm looking at the Luxe books. And I always look to Mr. Shortz for my Sudoku fix.
The best one so far. June 25, 2010 L. Wurschmidt (Sacramento, CA) I am addicted to Sudoku puzzles. There is wide variety in the quality of puzzle books. This one is my favorite.
It has quality paper that is easy to erase pencil notations from, the grading of the puzzles is accurate, and the hard cover and large spiral binding makes it easy to use while sitting in a chair. I like puzzles where the whole thing can be done without resorting to "working backwards". It is too big to carry in my purse, but fits fine in my suitcase for travel and I keep it by my favorite chair. I have also bought two as gifts for fellow addicts.
Sudoku January 23, 2010 Amy (Ohio) My husband really likes it after following the advice of a previous reviewer; he cut off the part of the binding that covers the spirals, and now it lays flat and can also be folded. Perfect size for traveling, especially on planes.
Fueling the Fire January 21, 2010 Melissa Norton Brother in law is a sudoku addict. Sudoku on the iPhone, in the newspaper, anywhere he can get his hands on it. This was a great little present for Christmas that he hasn't been able to put down. Varying degrees of difficulty, lots of puzzles, well worth the money!
Engaging January 18, 2010 BRJZ (Norfolk, VA United States) Gave this as a Christmas gift and since he opened it my husband has been barely wanted to put it down. He takes it everywhere with him. Great gift for people who love math, puzzles and strategy. The spiral binding and hard backing is very handy.
