 Nice that it's Cheaper May 12, 2010

I cannot really understand the full pricing for this, but with Amazon's cheaper pricing and free shipping, this product is worth the purchase. I like Wizard's mini's but the price and assortment is sometimes frustrating. If I didn't have a gift card to burn, I wouldn't have bought these but with the price discount, it was worth the gamble.

These were the first minis I bought, together with the Miniatures Game. I was surprised with the nice quality of the painting, and I got some interesting creatures, such as the Girallon and a Tiefling Cleric os Asmodeus.
The only problem is that I live in Brazil, and Amazon doesn't ship items that are not on the Books section. I was lucky to find the Starter Game and Demonweb on Books! If not for that, certainly I would buy more minis.

I purchased this item as a gift for my adult son. He has a gift list on Amazon.com. The D & D Miniatures were very well received. They arrived in a timely manner and they were new.

Some good unique characters to expand the games that my son and I play. He thought some of the figures were scary looking (he is only 7) but it gave us a segue to discuss good vs evil and fantasy mythos. I was a little disappointed that I had 5 duplicates between 2 boosters, so only 11 unique figures out of 16, but maybe I will want an army full of Human Bandits and Lolthbound Goblins one day...

This set introduces more enemies for your quests throughout DnD, the sculpts are not as nice as some past packages and the painting is only average but new pieces such as these add a new level to your gameplay.
