Perfect for 4-6 years old. July 12, 2010 vip-sanjose (San Jose, CA) My 4 and 6 year old love this game. Plays very nice for them. They learned it well after just a couple of rounds
Good for children over 6 July 10, 2010 Francesca This game is very engaging and fun to play with children. The age range given for the product is too conservative. My granddaughter is a very advanced 6 year old (reads at the second grade level) and still enjoyed this game. For older children there is the opportunity to learn stratgey, which is certainly a more advanced application than just matching the pictures. I highly recommend it because it teaches good thinking skills if properly guided.
Fun and educational. June 1, 2010 Nuknuk (Springfield, VA United States) This board game is similar to bingo except using cards for balls and animal pictures instead of numbers. You are using 1 board, not multiple cards with numbers. And instead of the middle position of the card is free, you now have four corners as free. The game is for 2 players up to 4 players. It is very easy to understand even for pre-schoolers. After explaining the rules, most of them can play the game outright. The only thing that is a bit harder to understand is the strategic part; but that comes in later as they play the game more and more. They do enjoy playing the game identifying the cards and then placing the chip on the corresponding picture on the board.
The object of the game is to connect four of your chips either horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Fun and educational game. Quality of the material is OK.
Preschooler loves it May 27, 2010 Armando-Malwani (MN, USA) My daughter has been playing this game since she was 2.5 and loves it. She's familiar with all the animals and learnt to wait her turn. I would have to say this game is loads of fun and I guess builds character. There aren't too many games out there that are safer, providing hours of fun for preschoolers. I should say this is one of the best. I highly recommend it. Having said that, a word of caution; this game does include chips that can be swallowed so It's good to have adult supervision until you feel comfortable that your child understands (same rule that a responsible parent would follow for any item that can be swallowed by a child). I encourage folks reading this to give it a stry
Lots of Fun! May 25, 2010 H. Zheng (Los Gatos, CA USA) We've had this game for just a few days. It's such a fun game. My 4 year old enjoys it so much. My husband and I even enjoy it and we now are more motivated to play together. Before this we play beginning and ending sounds, allowance (kind of like monopoly). We feel bored because it doesn't use our brain even a tiny little bit. This one we get to use strategies and have fun blocking and stopping others from winning. So glad to find a game that could get my husband away from his computer game for a minute.
I do wish the cards are more durable (they are easy to bend and get ruined, difficult to pick up - but all regular cards are like that though), or provide with a duplicate deck of cards. Seems to me the cards might get ruined first.
