MacBride(ID) Nice board to be used with two of the game's expansion packs for the eastern front (winter/snow) side and the Mediterranean (desert side). Fun board game system but you must own a basic copy of the game as this is not a stand alone game but an expansion board.

This extra board offers you a choice of a winter and desert setting and that is it.
However for Russia and North Africa that is just the ticket. There are extra sets which include counters for winter and desert settings and to make the game more appealing that is what this board is for.
No game in itself and not strictly neccessary it adds a lot to Winter/Desert settings.

Memoir 44 is a superb combination of board game and war game all set in WW2. This is a double sided board for use with the various Memoir 44 expansions like 'Mediterranian Theater'. One side is the desert (sand) and the other is winter (snow). You get nothing else when you buy this and the board is of the same quality and size as the original Memoir 44 game.
Its only an essential purchase if you have bought the expansions to the original game.
