5 out of 5 stars Fun and Learning at the same time!   August 31, 2010
M Barbara (Lowell, MA)
The Scrambled States of America is a great game to play for learning the States and Capitals as well as other factoids about the states. The book that it is based on is a fun companion. I got it from the library with the CD and the student I tutor listened to it in conjunction with playing the game. The pictures are fun and quirky--very KID APPEALING. It's a definite winner. Fun by itself and then for the academic value too. My tutee (grade 4) so liked it and it really makes you learn, without thinking, those states and capitals that are kind of fuzzy. The story that serves as the backdrop is a really creative idea. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

I bought this for our grandchildren ages 4 - 8. They absolutely love it and now know all the states. The older ones are learning the capitals. Great educational fun!Scrambled States

5 out of 5 stars So Much Fun   May 10, 2010
L. Dobler
I bought this for my two kids (8 and 10) hoping it would be a fun way to learn their states. It has ended up being a family favorite. It is fast paced and exciting. We did find that having another person to read the clues, who wasn't playing, made it easier but that was just our preferance. Fun, exciting, and educational, great way to learn about the states.

This is a great family game! Both of my children (8 and 11) love to play it and I must admit I like to play it too.

4 out of 5 stars Scrambled States   January 27, 2010
mom of 3 (New Lenox, IL)
I bought this for my kids this Christmas. It was highly recommended on the Amazon website. When the game was opened, it was missing 25 State cards. Amazon was appologetic and sent me a replacement within a few days. Returning my item was easy, I just had to drop it off at the post office with the prepaid postage label that I downloaded from Amazon's website.
My kids love this game and played with it for hours.
